Legends of the Moon

Rod Smith, from the Kwakwakawakw Nation, creates beautifully carved and intricately painted masks.  Featured here is the Raven mask which sits majestically on a wooden pedestal.

Jack Stogan, from the Musqueam Nation, carves beautiful totem poles out of yellow cedar.  Each piece is stained and polished to perfection.  The beaver is featured in this two figure totem pole.

Legends of the Moon is proud to present glass blowing at it's best.  Featured here is the Calico Friendship Ball, by Stephen Kitras of Fergus, Ontario.

The art of metalsmithing is alive and well. Copper plates and bowls, are hand hammered and created by Adolf Oetter of Black Creek, B.C. The distinctive artwork of Harold Alfred, Alert Bay, B.C. is featured on these beautiful contemporary pieces.
